Lucy Mason

State Representative Lucy Mason is a fourth generation Arizonan who was elected to the Arizona House of Representatives in 2003. Representative Mason is married to Rex, an architect, and together they have three grown children and two grandchildren. Representative Mason serves on the Education Foundation of Yavapai County and has been chairman of the Gang Prevention Task Force for the last four years. She is a graduate and past president of Prescott Area Leadership, served on the Children's Council and was a founding member of Youth Count. Representative Mason's main concerns at the Legislature are education, healthcare, tax and fiscal policy, and water issues. She currently serves on the following committees: Transportation; Federal Mandates & Property Rights; Government & Retirement; Utilities & Municipalities; chairperson of the Ad Hoc Committee on Education Reform.
