On Saturday, April 6th, the Arizona Department of Water Resources held a Water Awareness Month festival at the Wesley Bolin Plaza in Phoenix (1700 W Washington St, Phoenix, AZ 85007). The Arizona Water Banking Authority tabled at the event and greatly enjoyed the opportunity to meet with members of the public and other water organization professionals, answering questions and sharing knowledge. It was a successful and very enjoyable event!

There were many other exhibitors, including local cities, governmental entities, and nonprofits participating as well. Plus, a food truck, snow cones, and fun family friendly activities like bingo, face painting, and a petting zoo made the day into a wonderful outing for everyone there.

More about the event can be found in this news release on the ADWR website.
